With the first so many copies of this album you got a free 7" single which was a live version of this on the A side and a cover version of "On Broadway" on the B side. Plus did anyone know this was Gary's response song to The Vapours' song, "Remember I was Gary Numan"?

This is the version that has the synth solo edited out, sadly. It's around the 3:30 mark and feels empty without it.

THAT'S EXACTLY RIGHT! I thought I was the only one who noticed. I wonder how the Hell this happened. It's bizarre and really damages the song.

I think the copy of the Telekon L.P. I had originally was an American domestic release. I believe there are different mixes out there on the original vinyl. I first noticed the synth solo missing on a CD.

All I can say is Brilliant

I love the quieter compositions off this album and Dance so, so much. They've got such an austere, melancholy atmosphere yet with a really lush, bright sound in the textures and harmonies, and weirdly intimate and humanizing for an artist so tied to a "distant android" persona.
