Usually I never write YouTube comments but I have the following on my mind for many days now. I first heard this song on Spotify a few weeks ago and became curious. I became curious because I mis-heard the lyrics "Did you know that I never run?" ... Confrontations that I ever done ... so I thought it makes perfect sense and it's about a guy who has some problems with anger management or something and never runs away from confrontations ... when I came here to read that that it's actually "Did you know that I never won?" I was disappointed a bit. It's still a great song of course, but every time I listen to the song I'm thinking it would have been so much cooler if it would be "that I never run" ... and I'm really curious if Nomy ever thought about using that line instead because it seems so obvious in this context (blow like a loaded gun / confrontations) !!! What do you think?

I listen to a lot of music, like really a lot. Once, Three Days Grace made me cry with his song Pain, not because Im weak or I was suicidal but because it reached somehow my soul, Adam did it with his voice. The second time a song made me cry was listening "Hold Your head up high" from Nomy. Tonigh, almost 5 years after that, a song reaches deep inside my soul again. This, this is it, its true art. Patrick, I dont know if he has used his most and beautifull inner talent to sing with his soul trought his voice but somehow, something, touched me, something inside me that is scared from the outer world, the hiden Pain, everything you have overcome in your deep deep feels so you can continue growing up. Something I cant show to no one, even myself, yes, im talking about that part of us, everybody has it. Once again, Patrick, touched that feelings that was deep buried in my soul, waiting to explode someday, something they wont do since I found it and Im making peaces with that part of me. Thank you very much Patrick, even if you dont know what or how you made it. I read a lot of filosofy and I never thought that a song from an artist I dont listen for like 3 years could shake someone that hard, could shake me, frozen as I was, protected from the world in my cold chains. Nor even the hottest love was able to warm that part of me. This song, this mother***** song, waked up my lost, paralyzed, mistreated child and now he can shout out loud again "I want to live, and I will".
