@anabilish right, a simple, valid and true argument for eating sentient beings is that sentient beings use and eat sentient beings for survival. and no, exploitation is linked only to us being rat bastards in fact it has always existed and always will, and no, food is bad when is bad cause if you take a healthy grown carrot and spray it with crappy stuff it gets bad. plus, livestock pollutes cause it's fed with cheap crappy grains, if raised in open space, grass-fed, it would be a lot different

@anabilish also, my foolish belief system is science, so I think it's stupid to assume without proof plants need nerves to actually feel things like we do. they don't seem to have ears but it turns out they somehow 'hear' sounds and music and distinguish them. we still don't know the half of them, most people still don't know they have their unique dna like us, so they might have an adequate system which we can't see, just as we couldn't see atoms a century ago.

And no one is trying to say meat is bad for you, its more complicated than that and effects ethics, morality, etc etc. And i can assure you i am not falling for anything.
