this is 2019 and I still can't listen to the entire song without being overwhelmed by tears and sorrow. I like to believe Tony loves this song from up there. Best song ever written by Fat Mike, so simple and yet so true and poetic. Hats off to him for playing it live and not stop the show and go home and cry.

About 20 years ago, I was listening to NOFX and NUFAN, even went to their gigs a few times when they toured in France (Bordeaux)... Shit... It's been 6 years Tony is dead and I didn't even know it. I feel bad, all those memories, surf sessions, youth, punk rock...

I already knew NOFX, but discovered NUFAN on m@king friends... I heard the introduction, I was hooked. On the outside of course, a great tune.

I was just thinking about them smoking my cigarette outside, felt the need to listen to "On the outside" again, enjoyed the tune but... Red the comments and discovered, so many years later that he was gone... And it's not gonna be alright, not for me, he's gone...

Chris Cornell last year, Prince, Rick Wright, wow... who will still be alive to do good music ?

I first heard NUFAN in the late 90's - Making Friends. Album changed my life. One of those bands that when you are going through a real bad time, they always make you feel better.I play International You Day every day on my guitar as a tribute to Tony, that is how much this man meant to me. Never met him but at times felt like my best friend. RIP Tony forever in our hearts and minds

My very good buddy Cory B. passed away October 21st, 2016. I lost a very dear friend just like they boys in NOFX did. He was a man that helped others..he was a in the medical field. He was a great, great man....This is a very touching tribute..and resonates with me in a very harsh, sad and beautiful way. I love you so much, brother. And I've very sorry that I could not save you that night. I'm glad we spent your last moments together. But I am still hurting almost one year later and wish very much you were still here enjoying this beautiful life...So let's clank our beers..and give three cheers. To Cory B. Much love, brother. TONY'S NOT DEAD! HOW CAN I forget You in Bologna? One of The greatest show of my fuckin' Life! NUFAN/RANCID/NOFX... I saw NOFX at least 10 times... (TEEN IDOLS/HI-STANDARD/NOFX - Bologna), I saw Casualties, Ramones in '96, Exploited, BUZZCOCKS (with NOFX), BAD RELIGION, GOOD RIDDANCE, LAG WAGON, OFFSPRINGS, JOE STRUMMER &THE MESCALEROS, THE CRAMPS etc. But Tony, NUFAN, was absolutely one of the best (shortly after 'Making friends').

Best part of the song is the Cinder Block "Outside" sample.

The photo part is so true, I only have a couple with my best bud who dies two years ago. I sing it with alternate lyrics so it has his name, but it still makes me tear up. RIP Tony, so long and thanks for all the songs. :-)
