There is a scene from Perfume where the main character retreats from humanity. He HATES humanity. The smell. The noise. I can't help feel Kurt was motivated by smell a lot as well as the imagery of flowers, scent and emotion. He empathises with the main character who of course resorts to murder. Kurt to suicide.

It's simply not a good song. I love nirvana. They were a massive part of my adolescent years but we dont all have to pretend that every song was good because this one just isnt.
