Nirvana - Don't Want It All Lyrics
To hope is admittance
Feed before beginning
Double-sided cynics
Reflected image
Don't be so selfish
Follow it far
To find where you are
You haven't grown
Go on alone
Never finished his sentence
Remained in seclusion
For the next few days
The family circle noose
He had removed us
Finally he appeared unexpectedly
Looking for company

Nirvana Don't Want It All Comments
I got a bootleg cd in 95 when i was 21. The one with a pic of him with the pick in his teeth in his room in his moms house and this was on it. We use to drink cough medicine and watch the summer clouds in the sky as this played. We smoked alot of pot and hash too. I was just getting outta the Marines.
I'm sure it's not "all the styles of heresy" but "all the size of a millet seed" could be wrong but that's what I hear and would make sense with the title "seed"
The burp was homage to the vomiting sound at the beginning of Mudhoney's "Touch Me Im Sick". I would wager on that.
Check out the song called "Creation", I like it maybe a little more than this one. Same recording setup with him and his suitcase and playing bass. It's beautiful and lonely. Imagine that?
For the unplugged
That bass tone... Yummy.
This is how you start a song 0:00
The bass reminds me of TOOL.
Wtf why does this song have multiple names lol. Is this some kind of kurt conain rabbit hole. "Spectre", "dont want it at all", "seeds", "misery loves company" all names you can search to get this same song by them just with another title... Wonder what these names all had in common... Seems like it cant have anything other then a dark meaning tho seeing how seed could mean sperm misery loves company and dont want it all all could also kind of play into some of the things he was going through in my opinion and from what ive researched and watched over the years... The only part i dont get is wtf does a spectre have to do with those other names.
what genre would this be classified as?? sounds so mysterious...
For me, this is the sound of an underground cold-wave/post-punk band of the 80's.
Is that a burp at the start?
Guess so. Soda or beer will do that to ya
The best emo song I have ever heard!
R.I.P. KURT 😢👍
Ivan 12 25 years marks the spot. my homie passed away last year as well. heavy nirvana fan. fuck.
WoW kurwa! WoW
This song gives me this really strange feeling...
The drums made me think of Endless Sea from Iggy Pop. ☺
ok how the fuck is this mistaken with mollys lips hahaha
Bryoh Chris are you ready
Sounds just like Suicide Silence
lol his burp tho xddd
is it me or does this sound like slipknot???
This song sucks more than Kurt to his shotgun barrel
you're an idiot.
Burp itty burp at the beggining!
I like "fall away far" better than "follow it far"
0:00 BUUURP
Finally he appeared unexpectedly,
Looking for company...
Goddamn this is deep.
sounds like failure
I like "don't be so simple" better than " don't be so selfish "
Waaaaaaaaaay back when outcesticide came out it was labeled as misery loves company
That burp sound at the beginning
Nirvana and kurt cobain is this. Not slts or heart shaped box. People know nirvana for those songs but damn, this is kurts true artistry
Heart-Shaped Box is one of the greatest and heaviest songs ever written by anyone. To say such a unique masterwork is not Kurt or Nirvana is just absurd in the extreme. To suggest that this stoned fuck-around is 'really him' is ridiculous sorry. Damn.
True Funk Soldier HSB is a masterpiece but if you listen to Kurt’s early stuff like pre nirvana , pre everything it’s all really dark, depressing & heavy songs. I believe songs like these were his true sound but when he formed Nirvana it started to change , bleach is their first album and is very Kurt Cobain but Nevermind is quite the opposite, which sucks bc I personally think his early stuff is the best music he wrote
this is misery love company
So you wanna disrespect anime
So you wanna disrespect potatoes
So you wanna disrespect anime
Cool !!!
The most beautiful of all of kurdt cobain's songs.
In my opinion and stuffs, of course.
Beautiful ❤️❤️😘😍😊
The first TOOL song.
Caleb Whitfield does sound like tool
Ha, nice.
Such an enigmatic, misterious, surreal, dark, empty and slow song... He was a real genious, also great in bass, drums and piano... I thik Kurt played also the bass pedal of the Drums in here... so fantastic!
Did you just call this song empty? 😶
"All the styles of humilicy" not heresy. Ironically "humilicy" is not a word but its what he says.
Sounds like Deftones
Get out
it actually does tho, probably accidentally but the riff for this is almost identical to the riff for Deftones' song RX Queen.
unbelievable, i keep saying this, and this is now the greatest tune I've ever heard. It's pretty good.
CD: Remind me to get you more exposure to... um... the world o' music.
lol for Dinosaur.....I know I love NIRVANA..just heard this for the first time...but I thought of j singing it with Dinosaur tunes !!! yeah !
if Dinosaur jr covered this song... I bet it would be a classic !
haha almost read it as "if donald trump jr covered ..."
TheAceHD
that would be legendary.
Mark Lanegan could cover it well also.
I believe Kurt's title for this song is "Seed" cause on a page in the Nirvana Book "Come As You Are" by Micheal Azzerad, (however his last name is spelled), who wrote that book in 1993, with the Band... has a picture of an old journal entry wear Kurt listed Mellow 4track Shit, and listed this song as Seed.
Rych Corporhate yes it was originally seed
Seed AKA Misery Loves Company
double sided cigarettes, reflected in ash
yeah these "lyrics" videos really suck in their lyrics
misery loves company
right?
Yup, bootlegs get mixed up, Autopilot and On The Mountain aka You know you're right. They were cool names too but..
Is this the tape they take about where he hits a spoon on a suitcase, sings and plays instrumentals?
Hammer of Justice Crushes You OVERPOWER Nope! I forget the name of it but only about two seconds of that is public, his aunt has the rest
This is “Mellow 4-track shit” what you are referring to is “Organized Confusion”
Sounds like hands not spoons but probably
Of all the titles, regardless of Kurts title, I prefer Spectre, the first title I downloaded the song under in the early 2000's. It's vague and haunting and weird.
This is hauntingly beautiful
AfterMidnight ikr
I think the production quality does a lot for that, it's kinda perfect imo
Check out "Creation". Same vibe but I like it a little more.
Kurt's playing bass on here
simple and meaningful
This song is the most cryptic song Kurt has wrote. There are many meanings to this song. The one thing that stands out is that there is no guitar...only bass and minor percussion.
There's another song of Kurt Cobain called: Bambi Slaughter , so I would affirm that kurt used the same guitar bass!
listen to sad (early sappy)
I bet that gets unnoticed vastly. .i sure as heck didn't realize. I did, however hear the crazy cryptic captivating sound effects throughout the tune...you can hear em in the background. What perfection that is "Don't want it all" lyrics are outstanding.
And banging on some box
Kurt actually did bass on this, and it's great.
thats soo cool!☺
he probably used krist's upside down
corey jenkins yeah it sounds like krists bass
Yeah this was pre krist at his aunt's right
He also played suitcase
This does sound like tool!in a good way!
84hendrixnirvana ya tools pretty good but nirvana is the best
rhythm used for big long now? i think so
this is actually called misery loves company
@Brandon Pellegrino *Mislabelled 'Misery Loves Company.'
What dipshit actually considered this and thought the correct title was "Molly's Lips". That's like saying a demo version of Breed (Imodium) was actually called "Smells Like Teen Spirit"
Fuck it; I'm being too harsh
the official sandidge02
check the description for "common labels" and read the last label
the second part of the lyrics kinda sounds like him talking about his death

I think this was a pocket text.
Man, I wish they recorded this properly, this could've been one of my favourites.
@Ricky Reboet
Yeah, you're probably right! :)
Rod C I think if they recorded it properly it wouldn't be as good
I think it's better that they didn't honestly. Leaves it mysterious
Kris Frederick same i completely agree
sounds so much like tool
this song is perfectly simple.....amazing
whatever you think its about
What's this song about?
Vizun Alvarez whatever you want it to be about.
Esta genial, me encanta este tema :')
