Nirvana - Aero Zeppelin Lyrics
What's a season in a right if you can't have anything
What's the reason in a rhyme if a plan means anything
What's the meaning in a crime, it's a fan if anything
Where's the learning in a line, it's a brand, it's a brand
And you swear it's not a trend, doesn't matter anyway
There's only here to talk to friends, nothing new is everyday
You could shit upon the stage, they'll be fans
They'll be fans [alt: If you brand] [x3]
[x2]
All the kids will eat it up, if it's packaged properly
Steal a sound and imitate, keep a format equally
Not an ode, just the facts, where our world is nowadays
Hey ... [x7]

Nirvana Aero Zeppelin Comments
Maybe Kurt's best song
So, this was a nod to Aerosmith and led zeppelin? 'Cause I thought maybe he was shitting on their sound. I'd like it more if it was. Still a great song.
Nirvana and Queen be 2 of my favourite bands of all time. Like how it are possible that other members retire, Krist and John, and the rest continue with their venture, be it same band or a new one IDC which, band members got lives so play on. Just saying that it seems my main heroes die early. Wish I had a gun I could just blow my shit out with.
What's the season ina round meaning we dont get shit and it's an endless climb aerozeppelin 🙋🏼♂️🙋🏼♂️🙋♀️
Now here's a pure grunge
Now here's a pure grunge
Música de putos
pure talent and pain
Wow.. Great lyrics! I couldn't understand a word back in '94. How the hell did this get revealed?
Dream on, Aerosmith + We’re gonna groove, Led Zeppenin
They really matured on this even though from bleach to insesticide it was basically kurts sounds songs and grooves for the majority of the material on this album all three musicians were bringing their own styles in sync with kurts sound together with great musicianship with kurts soulful punk rock sound sort of the way the Beatles did with the let it be album while their unplugged wasn't one of my favorites , they were really starting to become the band they all really wanted to be with as successful as the mainstream never mind album was they had the freedom to not write corporate pop anthems anymore they went the other direction writing songs that would turn off fans of their radio album , I love when bands do this like radio head faith no more , deftones they get the sell out phase done right away then they do it their own way without having to cater to a record company's vision of the bands sound and what's going to sell , like nickel back or any one trick pony really once you hear one song from a band like that you've heard them all and alongside of having no depth they will gladly do nothing but crank out the pop hits that the record company wants them to
Mike Stein this isnt technically a studio album, they are all b-sides from the Bleach recording sessions that never made the cut for Bleach. Amazing that Aneurysm didnt make it to Bleach. Let alone this gem of a track...
Nirvana meets slayer !!!!!!
Does chad play in this track?
Many people that Kurt went to school with that hated him were coming to Nirvana shows and acting like they LOVED him since HE was a "rock star" and he seemed to detest how many acted like they liked him when he was in NIrvana and "grunge" music was a big "trend' that was popular at the time. I had read all that, and it seems that it should be true. Kurt was bullied by many guys in school that later acted like they were good buds once he became a big star. Well, some of us loved Kurt and the music that he made and REALLY did like it and still do. I am sure that many did stop listening after "grunge" went "out of style. Kurt isn't around now to see that his music still is loved by many.
You can literally hear Kurt's foot heating the pedal: 1:05
Kurt thought this shit bout the world in his day, imagine what he would say if he was alive today.
Great song! Thank you for the lyrics, actually made me love this son even more 👍🏼🤘🏻🤟🏻
I want one apple.
Lo que expresa está canción mediante la letra la verdad me gusta mucho
Dale is fucking amazing
@3:13: When most humans learn Kurt Cobain will shred them on guitar.
Anytime I hear someone say he wasn't a good guitarist I show them this song and they immediately retract their statement
this bass is so insane
Yea bro
All the kids'll eat it up...if it's packaged properly.
Genius.
32 bellends disliked this...
Nirvana is my all time favorite Band. Even though I like every Nirvana album,if I had to choose Incesticide would be my favorite one.
Holy shit that song is so fucking good. I could listen to this song all day
Better than Gun’s roses
Well no shit
Wait... what?!?.... AERO... ZEPPELIN... Omg... how couldn't I notice It?!?
One of the hardest Nirvana songs on drums
Didn't GG allin actually shit on the stage?
1:36 Slayer - Silent Scream
Whole song is somehow Slayerish.
Sounds so much like Sabbath
the melvins
An idea is what we lack doesn't matter anyway
This is their greatest song.
The hey hey voice kinda scare me, and kinda remind me of "Ohhhh Nooo Nooo Nooo" scream in song Black Sabbath, and the pic is quite creepy
Volví para romper los huevos
This does NOT sound like TOOL!
At all. Not off Opiate. Not off anything. Not even close to MJK tones, range and drumming is completely different style and tempo is completely different than anything off Opiate. Please step with this Tool comparison....ugh!
Uhhh toolvana??
This was Kurt Cobain's least favorite song.
Really? Why I thought he hated smells like teen spirit
Mark he hated the popularity, not the song itself.
Fuck yeah what a Maaad song!
My favorite nirvana song ever
Great drum track
Great bridge
I like it so fuckin much
Holy shit those gigawatts Marty!!!
Incesticide is the portal
My favorite nirvana song from all aspects lyricisms about the false idealist reality hitting home in 2019 no less the man was a prophet. And the led zepplin rocky riff. This album brings me a lot of pain..."the tracks" kurt knew nirvana fans would get mad at....no wonder they were un released. My favorite album too for the same reasons. Just think about how many "fans" pushed this dude under the % that "sold out" got a mortgage etc kids suburban home etc once they got to their 30s+ lmao yeh no wonder music suffers inwaves as the trends come the same way as the song precedes
The opening riff reminds me of Freezing Moon by Mayhem.
Sameeeee
Hey I'm a huge Nirvana and Kurt fan check out my Alternative Grunge original album, I promise you won't be dissapointed
@t
Who plays drums on this one?!
Dan Peters
@Jimsters ???
I think Dale Crover
@Pokètrainer Red I thought so too but on the liner notes for this CD it credits a guy named Dan Peters as doing drums on this song.
Jimsters i thought it was Dale. It sounds like Dale. Never heard of Peters but Dave did say he was Nirvana’s 4th drummer at the rock n roll hof induction....
Best Grindcore
Incestide is my favorite album of theirs
What a poetic intelligent genius. I think he probably had to act humble and down on himself to keep the fact that he knew he was ten times more intelligent and talented than the people who were manipulating him were.
@Dominykas Jonas Blynas i dont think he agreed with most he did choose to not be around others forever lol
well duh lol. Us geniuses do that every minute of every day. I promise.
@Dominykas Jonas Blynas Says someone with the IQ of a gold fish lol
But yet they won.
Lol yeah sure. That's why he killed himself. He was crazy about his intelligence.
There’s something about the riff + album art that strikes fear into me
Yeah Kurt had control of the album artwork and the cover is a self portrait of him. He viewed himself as too skinny and decaying, hence the skeletal man. There’s a childish doll on his shoulder pulling him, which signifies his desire to return to childhood. There’s an obvious crack in its head which I think means no matter how hard he tries, he’ll never return to the feeling he had as a kid. Also, there’s an obvious opium poppy that he’s holding which depicts his penchant for heroin. What’s really interesting is that the doll is pulling him in the direction of the poppy plant. I think that means that heroin is the closest he’ll ever get to feeling like a child again. It’s crazy how much a simple painting can tell you about a person.
Aero Zeppelin What's a season in a right if you can't have anything What's the reason in a rhyme if a plan means anything What's the meaning in a crime, it's a fan if anything Where's the learning in a line, it's a brand, it's a brand How a culture comes again, it was all here yesterday And you swear it's not a trend, doesn't matter anyway There's only here to talk to friends, nothing new is everyday You could shit upon the stage, they'll be fans They'll be fans (alt: If you brand) (x3) (x2) All the kids will eat it up, if it's packaged properly Steal a sound and imitate, keep a format equally Not an ode, just the facts, where our world is nowadays An idea is what we lack, it doesn't matter anyways Hey ... (x7) Corrected in accordance with the Kurt Cobain 'Journals' book.
"You could shit upon the stage ... they'll be fans, they'll be fans"...did Kurt predict mumble rap 20 years early?
G.g allin
Or he was referring to GG Allin.
@Dim Bulb he was defs referring to gg but the chorus is definitely talking about mainstream music, and in this day and age that's mumble rap
They were punks who translated this "prediction" into reality something about 15 years before it was "predicted". :-)
Punktuate it
Tune your guitar to the rain song tuning(DGCGCD) and play Fmaj bar chord and you get this song. Led Zeppelin/Aero zeppelin. Coincidence? I think not.
I´m so glad to know you where there, and your music and your words stay forever in my heart, love your thoughts and your soul, kurt..
cool drumming.
Dale Crover from the Melvins
Best song on that album for drum especially and really a Melvin’s hit for sure.
absolutely special...love the sound of Nirvana's first recordings...sludge, punk, fuzz...just unique...
@SuRIKE Not it wasn't. 'Incesticide' is a compilation of older material. 'Aero Zeppelin' dates from before 'Bleach'. 'Big Long Now' is from the 'Bleach' recording session. Other tracks are radio sessions and outtakes.
@SuRIKE It's a compilation that got out after Nevermind, but there are a lot of tracks like Aero Zeppelin, Beeswax, Hairspray Queen and more that were before Bleach. They recorded it with Jack Endino even before they had any band name, and he mixed all those songs in like an hour and a half or even less.
this song is from 88.. lol
I read that fast and saw *_sludge pink fuzz_*
Why is it Christmas eve and im listening to this bad ass song?
What else would you listen to on Xmas Eve...?
@Miles Highson "Fuck Christmas" by Fear
'Cause you're fucking cool.
Well chosen lol
buy the block coz you’re awesome
The truth has been spoken time and time again. Rip the brother of boddah
Just by my comments they get offended
Who cares
I'm so happy lifted my mood I don't know how to send comments but I'm sure as hell bet I ruined certain individuals days and nights
Ur very unpunk
So infatuated with this guy probably let me suck his u know what
Heeeey it's just a mutual agreement
And I am attracted to woman
Hes dead
I'm 14 i remember in 1999 my dad played this song and that 2018s music is bad.
RIP Dad
Poetic right here...love this album. Grew up with it since it came out many moons ago and it's still hard hitting as it was back then
I FKING LOVE THIS SKNG
Perfect.
What distortion pedal? DS-2?
Maybe DS-1 i think.......and probably with both pickups, not only bridge pickup, the guitar sounds a little "muddy".
didn't kurt use a big muff during the bleach era?
@Violently Sappy I heard it was a univox superfuzz. Great pedal, I don't like fuzz pedals but this one has a huge sound.
No but I played it with a Ds 2 on almost Max distortion and mostly everything else and you get the same sound
underrated nirvana
Aero Zepplin in a merger and homage of two legendary bands
Raj Nirvan NO
It sounds a bit like Led Zeppelin but nothing like Aerosmith.
One of my favorite tracks on this album! But yet the whole album rocks!!
More a compilation than a real album. ;) But yes, the whole...thing rocks! 😄
Ninguém mais consegue conter tanta emoção em uma música como Kurt fazia.
I'm rarely able to listen to the full track without looping back to the start at about 1:20 just because the intro is so good.
the lyrics are way off for this, but props for trying
Sounds like in a mix of led zeppelin, Aerosmith, and black sabbath
sexy avocado Actually not at all...
@BlueGill Giggle LMFAO jesus people are so stupid
That's exactly what it is, that's why is called "Aero Zeppelin", from Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin
What song of Zeppelin?
andola jackson metallica is a masterpiece unto themselves. So is nirvana. Try enjoying both without shitting on the other dumbass
this track has so much a hardcore punk aesthetic
"All the kids will eat it up, if it's packaged properly" well that's a fuckn true statement if I've ever heard one.
That moment when you realise Nirvana were much better than the stuff released in the charts
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait lol you JUST figured this out?
@Walid Baazi Yeah he meant his iq is around 55
@Brian Williams How can Nirvana be better than the stuff on the charts when NIRVANA was on the charts
@ᄐᄒᄀ he meant the stuff they released on the charts. The teen spirit bandwagon losers...those songs
fav nirvana riff and solo
This song is a collection of fucking awesome riffs
This song reminds me fight club so much don't know why
Straightway Zeppelin i can.... kinda see that.
I used to have that movie memorized. Every pause, every sound, every inflection. I could narrate the entire thing, blindfolded, as you watched it. Maybe not healthy? But it spoke to me somehow. Maybe thankfully nowhere near as much as it used to.
I agree and think it's because the mix is quite elementary (but sounds good), like "Where is my mind" Pixie's song in the movie
Anyone else get an early Tool vibe from this... Opiate era... Something in Kurt's delivery is very Maynard
Skippymoogoose90 well a little I guess. But like the song title says it’s a blend of Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin kind of
YES. LITERALLY came here to comment this. Tool vibes heavy
yes, once heard this song, immediately pressed Ctrl+F to find on this page if anybody else thought about Tool
the lyrics are absolutly wrong but i like the song
I was 12.
@Jimsters What a great excuse.
Whats wrong with them?
Essa música me traz lembranças fodas❤
1:53 Love it!
This song is so fucking fun to play on the drums!
I play it on the guitar.
Jimsters Either way
Gemidao do zap
Gabriel Bolauf ué kskskssks
KKKKKKKK
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk né
I'm pretty convinced these are the correct lyrics too. You're not wrong there are a lot of incorrect listings out there!
Que locazo kurt, aquí en esta canción , pero buena guitarra y gritos
Una combinación perfecta de Kurt
To think Kurt would of been 51 today
@Aleksandar Hajduk ikr
No wonder he committed suicide.
Life sends good ones to demise ... idiots : there will be a 2 bln.. increase in the years to come ; 👍🏻
He's not. People like you are starting to feel annoying to me. Not trying to be mean. I was 11 when he passed and remember riding our bikes talking about it. It hurt
Gerry Peacemaker he didn’t commit suicide he was murdered
Drake & Josh :v
