Rectify. Love that show 😍😍😍

One of my all time favorite songs done by one of my all time favorite artists, a winning combinations to be sure. Jimmy Cliff wrote this fine song and does a very credible job on this but Harry adds new meaning to the lyrics and the wall of sound production is pretty cool. Taken from the "Pussy Cats" album from the mid 70's when all sorts of music was coming out of FM radio, it wasn't a lead song that I remember but a good one, never the less. Harry and John together, how could you miss, really?

I've been listening to this song for two years now, the show Rectify brought me here. The show is as beautiful as Nilsson's version.

I love Harry Nilsson;but his and the great Linda Ronstadt, did it no justice. Some remakes should be left alone,I am not the Jimmy cliff expert, but that song is how I came to know who he was.And I sure don't wanna here,Bruce Springsteen straining to sing. No one can top that single

I just dont feel the desperation of the lyrics and Jimmy Cliff's vocals in this version. What a disappointment...........and I am a big fan of Harry Nilsson.
