Nilsson was a computer operator, and then he left the punch cards for a career in singing. One of the best voices ever. Too bad John Lennon got him on Coke. Last album Harry was spitting blood on the mic cause he was so F'd up, thanks to Lennon ! What a loss and a shame !

I can't believe I've listened to this song for years and I always thought Glen Campbell sang it!!

In my late 20s I was 7 years deep in to a daily booze and drug addiction. I would do whatever I could everyday to chase away feelings. I blacked out every night wanting to die. One night i found myself watching midnight cowboy and that led me to Harry's music. Something about that film and his music allowed me to see there was still something bigger, greater then myself in the world and was a turning point to me finally getting sober. I am now over 2 years sober and commit my life everyday to trying to return the gift that was given to me. There is help out there for every addict if you look.
