love Floor because she is so genuine and humble and grateful that she gets to do what she loves and is amazing. kudos to Nightwish for grabbing her up when they did. my only question: why did they wait 2 Months After this night to offer the job?!?

They offer her the job in juni 2013 😉

She wasn't touring or singing because she was burned out. They waited until the time was right. I think they knew from day one that she was the chosen one for the band.

Who is anete?

Anette is their second vocalist. She recorded "Dark Passion Play" and "Imaginaerum" albums. This song is also in Imaginaerum.

I'm so in Floor wagon, love her to pieces! I have some songs from the other two, that stay my favorites. Having Floor doesn't diminish the earlier songs for me, and if Floor makes a version of them, I'm happy about it. Because I certainly have more than just one version of songs I love.
For example, I'm a big fan of MoonSun band, which has done several Nightwish covers. VERY COOL!

I always wonder why Floor skips the Abracadabra part, its not that big of a deal but it really makes me wonder

because she would have to sing "magic of a moment, abracadabra - riding the day every day into sunset finding the way back home" in one breath which isnt possible and the abracadabra -riding are synchronic so she cant sing both at once, hence they sacrificed singing the abracadabre live.

Then again it was happy-happy with the previous singers too. Until they started to have opinions about world tours. Namely opinions that they wouldn't go to that gig. Tarja: "too many gigs too often, my health and voice can't handle this." Fired. Anette: "I have my kid with me and I would rather skip this gig and I'm pregnant again, could we not do the rest of the tour?" Fired.

Tarja was the reason I started liking Nightwish, but now I'm loving it even more because of Floor.

I knew Nightwish at the time of Tarja but did not like her voice making opera in all the songs. When Anette entered, it got worse for me. I turned my back to this band, but when I entered Floor I thought, "Who is this? What a wonderful voice! How much versatility! How much power! How much energy! How beautiful!" Okay, I just listen to Nightwish now ♥
