Night Verses - Faceless Youth Lyrics

Your body's irrelevant now
Time's transparent and flowing through
All the life your breathing
Upon the cavity of space and dust
Leave earth and rise up
Call the energies where the planets bend
Accelerate your skin, transform your cell

We'll rip the soul out of our being (being)
Erase the touch and divide
(The cavity of space and dust, space and dust)
There's so much more than what we're knowing (knowing)
We are the infinite and true
We are the dawn of faceless youth

Your mind's an element now
Transcend your physical form
Nothing and everything to let go of
A swarm of vast complexity
Abandon all safety
Channel all the sun's glare
Crash your voice into despair

We'll rip the soul out of our being
(Your body's irrelevant now)
Erase the touch and divide
(The cavity of space and dust, space and dust)
There's so much more than what we're knowing
(Your mind's an element now)
We are the infinite and true
We are the dawn of faceless youth

A swarm of vast complexity
A swarm of vast complexity

We'll rip the soul out of our being
(Your body's irrelevant now)
Erase the touch and divide
(The cavity of space and dust, space and dust)
There's so much more than what we're knowing
(Your mind's an element now)
We are the infinite and true
We are the dawn of faceless youth

We are the infinite and true
We're the dawn…

ross robinson ruined this record, just like he does with every band lately

Call the energies where the planets bend.

This album has so many problems it's irritating. The mastering is poor. Vocals throughout the album have this really really heavy reverb which is straight up distracting and unnatural sounding. I love experimental music, but this goes over the top to where compositional/structural cohesion doesn't exist. These great musicians (and I mean great) may have just shot themselves in the foot with this album. I think it'll alienate those who really enjoyed "Lift Your Existence." This may be one of the better songs on the album, but as a whole... disappointing, disjointed, failed attempt to be "artsy."

i respectfully disagree its a masterpiece in my mind there will be more music this album is raw yet sonically powerful give it a few listens all the way through headphones preferably if its not your cup of tea then its all good were all entitled to our opinions peace

if all you have come here for is to analyze the bands sound and nothing else, this is the wrong place for you. what matters here is the meaning and sincerity behind the music. their amazing sound is just icing on the cake.

John Dahlgren there first album is fucking beautiful but lacked on this one I honestly hate to blame anyone but I feel as though it was dougs vocals that may have turned you off and they arent as good as the first album but lyrically this is amazing
