What I'm seeing here is a man asking his love for another chance for him to become a better partner. He promises, convinces that 'they'll make their way back home' - they'll get back together and everything is going to be fine. But every time it's with less and less hope coming out of him that he will be able to cope with it. It hits me hard, as I've been there many times. Plus, Chad sings this line just like this man would tell it to her - a tad louder, no vibrato, as if he tried to gain confidence. Just brilliant. Thanks Nickelback!

I think there was one really cool guy who said he hated Nickelback and alot of people just agreed that Nickelback sucks and it just kinda snowballed from there. Or maybe it's because they're Canadian. No one can give me a legitimate reason why they don't like them. I LOVE NICKELBACK!!!

It may be true that Nickelback have a formulaic approach to songwriting, but that's No reason to hate them. There are Worse people out there posing as musicians, churning out passable tunes and employing girls, just to compensate for their obvious lack of talent. Sadly a huge majority is buying into that what is projected to be 'in' or 'cool', and it hardly is. These guys are good musicians even if many of their songs sound the same or have recurring themes. What's Death and Black Metal all about in that case? An expression of rebellion using a combination of technical extremes and aggression, but besides that, almost all of them sound the same. I'm not even going to mention today's 'Pop Stars' cuz must of them are just Posers. Respect NB for the music that they make. If people don't like them the best way is to keep away from their records/shows. I'm into guitar based music and even though it may not get the lights and the likes it deserves, it is ingrained into my flesh and blood, just as it is in another million people who love and respect the instrument.
