Omg I love nickelback I have been waiting for them to come back to Darien Ny! I couldn’t work when they came around 4 years ago! I was able to a year later! So I took my job at live Nation! I love my job and for the past 2 years I have not missed a concert! How to tell if a band uses auto tune. Slow down the song, if it is all staticky and you can hear more that one voice when one person is speaking there is auto tune. When you do that with nickelback there is only one voice, not multiple. Also if it has a metallic sort of sound to it when they speak.

Auto-tune is not the process making more vocals, it only helps the singer reach the needed notes in his/her singing. The thing you were talking about was backing vocals, which was used to create harmonic and make the voice seem better.
