I have a childhood best friend, we grew up together. But as we got older both of us went our separate paths. I went to college, started a career and got somewhere in life. However she went the opposite, bouncing from home to home, smoking, snorting, shooting any type of drugs she could get her hands on. She tried everything to get those drugs. Stealing, murder, robbery. to this day shes still in that hole. I've tried desperately to help her but all my attempts have been futile. She's like a sister and I never want to lose her, but I feel like her life will be cut short if she doesn't stop. And that scares me more than anything. This song reminds me of her so I listen to it all the time.
