Never used to like nickleback. Was too soft for me with songs like how you remind me and saving me being the "normal" sound you hear from them. Normally i need something harder for when i jam out on guitar. But this album isnt that bad tbh. I am genuinely impressed by the evolved sound coming from these guys now.

Sounds like Curb / The State era stuff. Nickleback is in a shitty catch 22. If they make music like this they get cred from the rock community, but get no money. When they make that poppy garbage like Home they get tons of money because they appeal to the main stream. Look at Gwen Stefani, she had a little success with No Doubt but then when she started pumping out that pop garbage she earned millions and topped the charts. Nickleback sucks because people like shitty poppy music. I don't blame Nickleback for wanting to make money.

When nickelback comes back to Australia imma go to watch them probably won’t happen but it will be worth watching

For a band who is always on everybody's"most hated bands list", they sure do seem to pump out a lot of great music, mainstream hits, and epic videos. And, oh, yeah, they even sell a few records along the way.

yeah, that love-hate relationship, people seem to have with nickelback is quite amusing, to be honest

People hate them because they are mainstream. Just like people hate five finger death punch for moving toward a mainstream sound, instead of what they used to be. This and maybe 3 or 4 others are the only ones by nb that I like, but I generally dislike this band
