Nilsson
track 2 of "Nilsson sings Newman" is what you are remembering. Both of them are great songwriters, and great performers. The album was entirely of Harry performing songs written by Randy. However, this track is Randy's own performance of his own song. I agree, it is hard to tell them apart.
@Rick Emry I love both artists immensely, but Nilsson really made this song his own in my opinion.
