Bought this album in mid 90"s while in college...been a Prince head since Controversy days. Glad to see you new generation listeners finally get hip to his non popular albums and unreleased music. Back in the day we were like a Prince music cult..sharing and listening to Prince that the popular masses never heard...he was our centurys Mozart..the greatest to ever do it

@Supergrover Fan's just get mad at anything when you don't have more music. I remember on a forum where they would just whine about the segue's. They were looking for a segue less Exodus CDR. I can't even comprehend being that miserable you can't deal with segues. These were the same people angry that Lovesexy was one tracked. You can't listen to that classic lp, you have to skip on the player? Lovesexy? 🤣

Eye <3 P's background vocals on "Cherry Cherry". Like manna from Heaven for my ears and soul.
"Muhfuh I count the daaayyyysss..." LOL I always dug this track. Prince sings that outro with so much attitude and swag. Musically, lyrically, it moves me. The vocals, the guitar, the message. This and "The Good Life" were always the highlights of the album for me. Listening to this after some years is taking me back and it's so cool to rediscover this classic album.

Listen to how his robot voice pronounces the consonants (especially the "t"s) in the first track, he's HILARIOUS. "Get Wild" and "Return Of The Bump Squad" are in fact in my Top Ten of all Prince songs, and it was a big big joy to discover this album after his death. Bow DOWN, muthafucka ... he was JUST incredible. And so so so funny.

Still one of my favs albums of all time!

Awesome trax on this CD, but all the segues and skits detract from the funk! Peep the albums New Power Soul, Chocolate Invasion and Slaughterhouse, for some of the dopest funk!

This was the best. Used to dance to this at Paisley Park when he would have after shows from the Glam Slam club

Queen of the Grandenites yes they were had to repeat a few. Favorite was the broad story bout the mash potatoes in her hair & the one where the man climbed in girlfriend's window. That one was hilarious 😂
