When I was in high school a friend gave me this tape for free because she didn't like it. When I listened to it, I loved it. I couldn't understand why she didn't like it but looking back I can see where I had the edge over her in musical tastes. I was raised by older parents who introduced me to 50s and 60s music and I always loved how innocent and sweet the music was from that era. Guys really knew how to woo the ladies without making a single degrading remark back then! In high school, gangsta rap had reared its head so my generation didn't appreciate sweet, innocent songs like this. Her loss, my gain because I discovered a gem. This one here is my favorite along with Wanna Be Loved by You and Popsicle.

i didn't "have to justify" that i like other music. i've ALWAYS liked rock and classic rock. my first 2 fave music groups period were Styx and Chicago. i liked the 80s pop stuff but New Kids just sounded right to me. and i knew that MORE pop groups were gonna come and go and i would STILL like them the best

i NEVER had the first TAPE!(lol) i had hangin tough, Step by Step and No More Games. just bought the Block cd and a dvd of their greatest hits. i like the new cd but i am ordering off amazon this cd, Hangin Tough, Step by Step, No More Games and Face the Music cds. yeah i'm a 36 year old guy. i LOVED their music when they first came out. still do. and i like LOTS of music including classic rock
