What can anyone say folks? Alan P. does it again, Neon Indian takes it there once again. Ever since Psychic Chasms I simply have not stopped listening. Each album is its own time warp into its own universe, with impeccable wonderful intriguing melodies and trance Inducing sounds you just cannot help but wrap your every listening capabilities around. Highly addictive, this album surely delivers and feeds us that much sought out fix, but it's tracks like this one that keeps us coming back for more and more. I'm a product of the mid 80s and between this album and Psychic Chasms, there are so many samples, rhythms, and sounds that cant help but to make me feel somehow teleported back in time. Each time it's like "wait I've heard this somewhere or know this from somewhere". Some melody or sound i know my memory registered somewhere between listening to an older family members music from the late 70s all the way up to the early 90s, to perhaps a commercial or a sound synth from some show from the 80s to the 90s. The way Neon Indian captures the essence of these timeless spell inducing, nostalgic sounds is what sets them aside from many contemporaries, and is what places Neon Indian among the greatest in modern times. This track is arguably the best on the album and lastly, the melody and vocal note on the lyric "we all have those feelings we need to console" really takes you there... Whoo!!

Oscar Leonardo Part of the intro where you hear people talking is actually samples from Love in C Minor by Cerrone. But I'm not convinced that the synths you hear are from Yazoo.. idk I feel like he got it from someone else.. a different song.
