My mom used to sing me this when i was born something I've always remembered whenever my blood sister and i are struggling we sing this to each other as my moms been gone for six years.

I have been listening to this album quite frequently lately and it got me to thinking. I wonder if Willie would consider making a short film about the red headed stranger? The story is already written, a preacher whom murders his wife and her lover after she leaves him for another man, then goes wandering around running from his past, kills another lady who tries to steal his wife's horse, meets a woman in Denver and tells his sob story and so and so forth. i think Netflix would jump all over that idea. and id watch the hell out of it

Back in the 90s Willie played at a arena near me. My friend was an usher there and went backstage while the opening act was on and saw Willie and his band sitting around smoking a blunt. Willie raised the blunt to my friend and asked him if he wanted a hit. Friend said no thanks I'm working. He regrets saying no, cuz he had a chance to smoke with Willie.
