Neil Young - It's So Hard To Wait Lyrics

I just can't seem to get movin'
Love me enough to begin
And I'll never forget you
I hope that you care
More than a little for me
It's so hard to wait.

If I should stand and stare
Don't be alarmed at me
It's so hard to wait.

I just can't seem to get movin'
Love me enough to begin
And I'll never forget you.

Neil Young It's So Hard To Wait Comments
  1. B.... B....

Personally I don't believe in a bad Buffalo Springfield song, at least for "A Child's Claim To Fame" off their second album. The band were ahead of their time.

  2. A.... V....

Definitely reflects the agony of waiting....

  3. T.... K....

you hit it right on head, buddyboy! this album is so weak that it's actually month! I don't ever wanna read about anyone knocking this album! it's a reflection of my youth! it's perfect companion piece to 'Buffalo Springfield Again'!

  4. c.... z....

Furay and Marty Balin are grossly overlooked vocalists.

  5. K.... S....

Great vocalist Furay and I love the laid back vibe of this track

  6. L.... B....

    Sublime.
Steven Stills' measured, yet passionate singing leaves me breathless by the song's end. So simple, and elegant, it's incredible that this song is on the same album as Mr. Soul.

    L.... B....

Richie Furey singing on this one.

    L.... B....

mysterylily this song isn't found on same album as 'Mr Soul', unless it's a 'best of'

    L.... B....

@Ted Kier It is on Last Time Around.

    L.... B....

Except its Richie Furay not Stills

  7. b.... ....

    a real rocker this one.....zzzzzzzzzz..

    b.... ....

If it were any slower it would be playing in reverse ... Wait a minute, I'm gonna give that a try !

  8. J.... ....

I listened to this song after having found out my friend died

  9. R.... W....

Perceived as weak, maybe, because there were so many slow tempo love ballads. Personally, it's one of my favorite old albums. It wasn't all just Stills; Furay and Messina shared the songwriting.

  10. M.... L....

And I agree those saying this is a good album, since I think they never made such a thing as a bad record, they were too good for that!

  11. M.... L....

I guess you're kidding! This is the only version of this song and of course, this is the Buffalo Springfield

  12. b.... ....

LOL!! You'll just have to wait!

  13. T.... M....

    * * * * *

  14. J.... V....

Weak album? ahahahaha One of the ten best of all times. On the Way Home? Questions? Kind Woman? Are you kidding?

  15. J.... A....

I stood in line for this album. IMHO, artistically it's their best...perhaps because it was their last. Thanks for uploading this. Peace.

  16. S.... ....

    It's a brilliant album

  17. K.... T....

This version is NOT the Buffalo Springfield and wasn't on the Album

    K.... T....

    Kathy Towne huh ??

    K.... T....

    Are you in a coma?

  18. T.... W....

the photo on the front is fitting, as they are all looking in one direction, and Neil is looking the other, a lot like his musical future.

  19. t.... ....

Weak? This is my favorite Buffalo Springfield album. Preternaturally mature -- and timeless.

    Beautiful.

  20. n.... ....

You can tell the influence of Jim Messina on this track.

  21. D.... C....

Is it possible for you to add another song off this album called "On The Way Home"?

  22. P.... G....

Who are these people you refer to who think it weak? It's a gorgeous record, just VERY eclectic and pieced together by Messina cause the boys were breaking up. Track for track, VERY strong.

  23. c.... ....

It took me awile to get into this album but i really rate it highly now...40 years later!

    Jim

  24. d.... ....

Been listening to their songs since the first and they are all great. Some take listening to a few times before you realize it. Had they not broken up so early their songs would be more famaliar to everyone. Thanks for posting it.
