Nicolette Larson's voice, so sweet and clear. Gone not forgotten.

It is sad ....she had so many more years of living she could have enjoyed and her little girl had to grow up without a mom. It was the NSAID over the counter pain medication like ibuprofin and acetaminaphen that killed her. It has been the prime mover in the deaths of many millions of people worldwide over the past 50 years from liver and renal failure. The doctors dispense it like halloween candy because it is non-narcotic and since it is obtainable without a prescription, most people equate it to be as safe as aspirin. Unfortunately they couldn't be more wrong. There's other very bad twists to this sad tale. For instance combining ibuprofin and acetaminaphen can ramp up the speed of the liver damage 100 fold. I got lots more but now I'm too depressed now. I know all about this because I'm living it. Nicolet Larsen"s fate is my own and it's right around the corner

Strange how a song can get a person through a hard time. I'm sad because I see my mother slipping away with Hospice at her side. But she's 100 years old, and I guess there comes a time for everything... she's been our family's tall tree all these years, and soon she'll be layin' down for good.

I'm 51. Used to play and sing this song when I was about 13. Don't play much anymore but just met a 24year old lady musician last year that plays this and invites me to sing with her at her gigs. How great is that!
