Neil Sedaka - Snowtime Lyrics
Snowtime, snowtime, oh oh oh oh oh oh
Snowtime, snowtime, oh oh oh oh oh oh
The snow is falling
The world's dressed in white tonight
When I held you tight
And I’m recalling
The joys that you were there to share
The stars burned brightly and I clung to you tightly
As the snow clung to your hair
Your love quickly faded out of sight
Like the snow on the ground
When spring showed her April smiling face
I'll be here waiting
I'll always be true to you
Till winter finds you and falling snow reminds you
That you love me too
That you love me too
Snowtime, snowtime, oh oh oh oh oh oh
Snowtime, snowtime, oh oh oh oh oh oh

Neil Sedaka Snowtime Comments
huge killer
Neil's many voices on this record were way, way ahead of The Carpenters' later recordings on A&M with their multiple voices!
Hey there, "CatsPJ" What a great song to play on this very cold New Year's Eve in may parts of the country (we're pretty cold today out in west Texas as well which is very unusual) I was trying to remember who besides Patti Page and Neil Sedaka really capitalized on the use of multiple tracks....As early as this recording, I think Neil had already nailed that concept down pat. Happy New Year, "CatsPJ" and thanks for the upload of "Snowtime"! (Mario)
Happy New Year, Mario! It's freezing cold here too so "Snowtime" is very appropriate.,
Wonderful musical performance!
@yougotitjerky Right on! Thank you very much for your support and for being a Neil fan!
@lateforbreakfast You're right, it's one of my treasures!
The fact you had to work and save to purchase the Sedaka set will make it all the more intrinsic in its value to you..You have many hours of music to enjoy with such a set....
@lateforbreakfast Really glad you like it! I bought the Bear Family set as soon as it came out. I was working in the packing section of a bookstore at the time and I remember saving my money up to buy it.
This is pure Sedaka, which means its brilliant. thanks for sharing this song. Neil Sedaka is one of my favourite singers and I have several of his CD's but to have the Bear Family collection would be the ultimate..
@CatsPjamas1 I just added the lyrics to the description under the video.
@musicmandon1 Neil is my favorite singer / songwriter of all time. I actually spent close to $300.00 to buy the Bear Family complete set of all his released recordings from the first 10 years of his career (8 CDs and a beautifully illustrated hardcover book). There isn't any other artist I would spend that kind of money on. I agree the words should have been recorded clearer on "Snowtime" though but since I've listened to it so many times, I think I have figured them all out.
