I discovered this song after someone stole my cassette player from my 1965 Mustang. I was near broke so I bought some used 8 tracks at a thrift store for like a quarter each and this was one one of the albums. I cried when I first heard it. Very emotional song. I have since learned it on guitar. One of my all time favorites. I also found the 45 single among my vast 45s (I actually owned a copy when it was originally released but did not give it a true listen until I heard the 8 track).
