Turned the AM radio on the first time I drove it and this song was on with slight static. Will never forget that blissful moment on that nice spring day. It was like my personal time machine!

As a teenager, I went to bed at night listening to "laughter in the rain " on the radio and woke up listening to "Maggie May" by Rod Stewart and Elton John's "Bennie and the Jets". It was the best summer of my life. I'm 60 now and I still listen to and love all three tunes in January 2020. 😎🤟

I heard this song back in the 70's.  It was one of the first songs I fell in love with that was played on an R&B station in Wash DC.  I still get chills when I hear this song.  I heard it in a mall a few months ago.  I had to just stop and listen before moving on.  It brought tears to my eyes.
