The movie "Johnathan Livingston Seagull" is a film of rare beauty, felt by people with special culture qualities; to this is added the soundtrack of the movie that is a "sonorous jewel" made by one of the most "big voices" in the world ... NEIL DIAMOND ... after listening to the gorgeous pieces of fim you have to stay for a while hours alone living the ecstasy you feel ....
I do not have superlatives to congratulate this movie with his dream music ...

After work at 4am you seat at the back of the ship, crossing the ocean and listen to the music of Neil Diamond on a Cassette Recorder and watch the sunrise it touch you deep and feel you're just a small piece on this wonderful planet earth. My father gave me this book to read when I was about 9 years old. At the time, I just thought it was a cute book about a "talking" seagull. I've since re-read it about 100 times and I get something different from it every time. The author, Richard Bach, was a pilot....and several years after my dad passed away, I studied and flew to become a pilot myself! I walked myself down the aisle to my own wedding to this song, in honour of my dad. Ironically, my husband dumped me for another lady pilot. Stiff shit. This song means the world to me. Thanks for sharing!!

My father also gave me this book to read at about same age...I’ve re-read also...and have passed it on to my children and grandchildren🙏 such a beautiful parable...so much meaning behind the story...my father passed a year ago in October, 2018...this is a beautiful tribute to remind us...that we are capable of anything we wish to be, do, or have...If we “Believe it” then...So It Is! It's my pleasure. This song is one of those compositions and performances that is inspirational. To forge the genius of Jonathan Livingstone and Neil Diamond together after the book was released was something of a unique blessing. Both are perfectly suited. Jonathan would have approved.
I do not know why these pieces are not greater known, or talked about, they are less commercial but by far his best, and some of the the most profound pieces of music ever written. Let's just call us the lucky ones.
