the light at my worlds end - light aka world peace after his end or after he destroys the current world

nothing left to defend - lelouch turned everyone against him so he had nothing left to defend

i cant get by pretending it's okay - lelouch couldn't ignore or leave the world as it was

everything was stolen from me - lelouch had his life, family and title stolen from him

in a world that wouldn't change - lelouch believed the world wouldn't change by itself. that why he decides to change the world.

whats this the song i've been singing, a song of colours turned to grey - worlds end and colours is sung by the band flow, so flow are alluding to the optimism of the first op colours has now turned to grey

everything is bright - lelouch plan to make the world bright aka peaceful

it's time to make my shattered dreams become this world reality - lelouch towards the end is betrayed and all alone his dreams were shattered but instead of giving up he turned his shattered dreams into a reality

this is the end for me - lelouch in the end accepted his death was necessary for his plan

now i see there's nothing left for me - in the end his black knights and the only thing he really cared about his sister were all against him.. he had nothing but his plan left..

I like this version Nate but I feel like I got geekyfandubs rendition a little bit more, mainly because its the entire song but I can't even view it anymore. For some reason Sony or whatever it is removed recently and I feel like its my fault because I listened to it so many times during such a short time period that they noticed it.
