Whenever I get nostalgic about something, I immediately think of this song for some reason.

One of my favourite themes in the series. The meaning behind the words... So good. "It's not always black and white" - nothing in life is always 1 or the other. "It's not always win or lose, it's the role you choose, the answer's within." means so so much. It's not always about winning or losing, but the growth, and the feelings and motivation you have within

Gen V Games: Great story telling, new awesome characters (sans Bianca for me personally), and overall great games
Gen V Anime: Lots of filler, Ash's personality was annoying and felt like his maturity disappeared entirely, Iris and Cilan are meh, and Team Plasma/Rocket arcs were at least interesting
Both: Gotta admit, they got some pretty damn good soundtracks

Braden Skaggs and we are going to act like like diamond and pearl series had just as bad filler

@Keeten Dailey Iris and Cilan are very hit or miss. Iris seems like she's too full of herself and doesn't take Ash seriously. Cilan is just meh to me. Ash does some of the stupidest things he's ever accomplished in that season (Nimbassa gym battle). Gen V seems like a hit or miss season. To me, it's a mjss

Braden Skaggs Iris as a character is very understandable, if u actually payed attention, you would see the reason she demeans Ash is because she is insecure about herself, and oh no she called him a kid which is just stating a fact, but when misty calls him an idiot that’s ok, I see how it is, BIAS

Braden Skaggs but Ash has done some of the smartest things in that season, the reason he kind of dropped in skill is because he didn’t have a rival like Paul to push him, so naturally he fell back a bit, it makes sense from a writing standpoint, here are the smart things he did in Black and White to name a few, Teaching Krookodile aerial ace just to beat Stephan’s Sawk, using water gun on the battlefield to clear sandstorm and then aiming it into the whole to flush out krokorok, also telling os how att to aim his water gun at the wall and knowing just where to aim to get his scalchop back because it bounced off the rocks and hit the scalchop and allowed oshawott to grab it, but yeah let’s focus on one dumb mistake he made, when he had so many great ideas during this series, you go and do that

Braden Skaggs and I know this is off topic, but I’m so glad the dub has changed, I hated 4kids, they were easily the worst dub ever. Thank god things changed in season 9.

A decade of time passing makes this theme nostalgic

Love this! I never watched the anime, but the Unova region is my favorite!

Unova is my favourite point of the Series. For me it was the highlight of the entire franchise in so many aspects.

God damn I've been playing since Gen I but Black and White was amazing in just every facet of its existence. The best games. The best sequels. The best time in the Card Game. The best anime season. The best anime opening. I think my favorite is still the original one but that is only because the nostalgia points bump it up. I miss it so much.

I remember around the time B&W came out, I went to listen to all the Pokemon theme songs.
While I played mystery dungeon explorers of darkness and sky first, Pokemon black was my very first trainer version. I actually thought I'd get Zekrom but I got reshiram instead. Went on to get White 2.
Ahhh Unova will always have a special place in my heart, followed by Sinnoh

I started with Black and White. This is incredibly emotional and nostalgic. This cover is amazing. :)

I think the cover was cool, but tbh at times it bugged me. I was too heavily compressed, it would've been nice to listen to muted guitars chugging on the sides to give it some added groove.
