i love this song but the upbeat horns at 3:54 feel so weird listen to because of the sad lyrics. and apparently the song came about because of a fight she had with her boyfriend but for some reason i keep picturing it being about an old lady living with her husband who has dementia.

Best thing about Easter---discovering Natalie Prass.  Such beautiful songs, and wonderful to hear someone making music with such integrity.  It's true--there is an air of Dusty in Memphis in the warmth of all of the musical arrangements.

Those horns are like they put Phil Spector in charge of a high school brass section. I mean that in the best way possible.

Absolutely gorgeous arrangements.  Her vocal melodies accent them well..  I hope this continues.  I'm not often excited about newer music. It's fan-fucking-tastic to see a female lead that isn't trying to copy Jewel or Amy Winehouse.. Individuality is the thing that separates "singers" from "artists".. this is art

This is an absolutely gorgeous album (this track included). Natalie and her team put together an interesting piece of art. This is the first album I really liked in 2015.
