The poem that became the lyrics for this song were written a few months before I was born and I believe it came out as a record when I was a few months old. My father loved this song and he always called me, "his strange and enchanted boy." I remember hearing that song as a kid and being very melancholic when I heard it. My life has kind of paralleled the "boy" in the song.
