I was looking for a great tune... sorry, i prefer Nancy's old tunes from the sixties...with Lee Hazzlewood for example...
But I'm glad you put these scenes of Cocteau's Belle et la bête movie..

I LOVE Cocteau's movies et le FRANÇAIS est ma langue maternelle alors je suis comblée! I speak french (i'm from Montréal) so I'm totally delighted by Cocteau's poetry!

It's a testament to both Nancy and Morrissey that this sounds so good - her vocal interpretation of the song is gorgeous, and full of feeling - I would not have imagined it could sound so good with a voice other than Morrissey's, but it's heavenly, sad, desolate and beautiful...
