I was so deep into metal of all forms for so long, it was my life! It was a religion! I heard Nails and loved the level of raw hate, aggression combined with the onslaught of sound and chaotic heaviness with a little bit of groove thrown in there. Years later I still enjoy metal but decided it didn't define me as a man, it accentuated it(and not everyone likes it) instead of declaring the unbelievers as heretics and writing them off without question. I decided to grow, I'd been growing but at my own pace like a stalagmite and the human equivalent to a fucked up shrub and eventually really changed. Either way, the cover to savage intolerance which came out years after the fact made me really think "This is what I represented, this is what people saw and thought that I was because I liked it enough to show it and man, I would have killed or hurt someone at the drop of a hat if they crossed me without a 2nd thought back then, people feared me including my sister, who I recently found out wouldn't let me meet my niece and nephew until I evened out and as a drug dealer back in the day I never got robbed except once, the only guy to try got stabbed by my hand 3 times and it is not a memory I enjoy and have come to regret but back then I thoguht it made me strong but right after I felt sick and scared. After the Marines and until now I love the world, still hate alot of people especially the poor and the socialists but I hear this and yes it's good because the quality and the music but damn, it is just something else now.
