As a old classic rock guy, I recently gave in and bought "Z" cd. I must say this song is a great piece of art ! This is my first exposure to this band, ya I know pretty sad on my part !

The radio stations are shit in the states, too, unless you happen to live in a big city. I don't. It's all country music, or old gospel (the crappy, churchy kind, not old blue-grass gospel), and the new 'hits' all the teenyboppers are listening to. Nothing even close to MMJ.

I've been listening to music for over 15 years. I've gone through most of the Metal, Rock, most off-shoots of alternative and experimental Rock, Hip Hop and RnB music out there (British and American). I've also been familiar with My Morning Jacket for years...
And yet this song, when I came across it 3 months ago, captivated the fuck out of me, and I can't let it go. The last 2 minutes are a euphoric paradise for the ears. So so moving, my God.

Oh wow.. This is awesome. I discovered this band back in like eighth grade with "One Big Holiday" and I freaking loved it. That was five years ago. I was really hesitant to look up anything else by these guys until now. Reminds me a lot of that feeling listening to "These Days" by The Black Keys..

My friend and I always bought CDs with amazing album art that we never heard of is how I discovered their awesome music.

I have loved MMJ since before American Dad, so when that episode aired my mind was blown considering not many people know this band. My fav A.D. episode.

I had an eargasm listening to that beautiful guitar solo/instrumental around 3:05 into the song.

jim James went to the same school as me! but like 10 years before

I'm 17 years old, and I discovered this band thanks to American Dad 1/2 years ago.. (unfortunately not by an other way... In France, its hard to discover new bands excpet by going to concerts, or listening to the ONLY rock radio.. Yeah only 1 radio plays rock in this country, what a shame..)
I'm happy I discovered this GREAT band, their music is full of emotions and sincerity.. It's impossible to describe the feeling their songs give us.. Just have to close your eyes, focus on the music and go

this album is one of the few i will play for my children and say, "ya, this from my generation". not that this album was very groundbreaking for music or rock, but it ranges greatly in its content and is simply awesome fucking music played with actual instruments which is something that i feel much of the radio and artists today lack an appreciation of

Strangely I picked up a DVD of American Dad at my local library and the episode with My Morning Jacket was on it. I fell in love right off the bat. Jim James in my opinion should get a lot more credit than what he has already been given. They're an underrated band also I think.
