I’m not sure what compelled me to listen to My Morning Jacket this morning, but I recall loving this song 12-13 years ago when I was 18 years old. Crazy how music can instantly throw you back to old feelings you thought you had let go.

Ever been to a concert?  Well then you have been around A LOT of drugs.  I do not condone some one bragging about how high they are on youtube of all places but if that really bothers you then you lead a sad life.  Enjoy the song and don't focus on the comments you douche!!!!!!!!

Music on its own is like a drug, if not a drug, it can take you to a different place and can make you think in different ways. If you listen to the same piece of music thought on different substances(weed, ket, alchole, etc) each takes you to a different place again and you get different thoughts and different perspectives on the music and what thoughts your having.

Music becomes a part of you though which makes it infinitely more sublime. Music has the ability to emotionally tell the story of your life, a song can recall a moment in time and can live in your heart forever. Music can haunt you and give you hope.

Definitely. I do agree with everything you said, but I think music shouldn't have to be enjoyed whilst under the influence of some drug. I'm a big muso, and I can certainly understand that drugs like weed can offer an artist a different perspective on things, but I think the music they create can be enjoyed on its own merits.

I hate when people have to take drugs to enjoy this kind of music.. Don't they understand? This music is a drug! It's the only drug you need.
