one of the only punk bands i know that never changed their sound. don't get me wrong i've been a blink 182 fan for years but i can't help but notice that once the self-titled album came out they've had somewhat of an emo following and hhave lost the sound that made them famous in the first place. anyway mxpx is a great band they never deviated from what they do best and that's fast paced, melodic, punk rock that we all love

Quite a few 70s artists had a good number of Religious songs, but didn't exclusively produce religious music. It's only recently that bands HAD to be one or the other.

MxPx is one of several bands that defies this growing polarization of the industry. I think MxPx doing this is a good thing.
