Love myself some Mushroomhead--It happened when I bought the Freddy Vs Jason soundtrack..Funny thing is I bought it Specifically for Chimera&Zero Cell...I think I spelled Chimara wrong Lol....I bought Chimera directly from our National Army Base where they&Chimera performed for a concert back in May of 2003 for 12 dolla. I met the lead singer/frontman of 'Zero Cell' and he was freaken cool asf. 7 foot tall black man not much older than myself at the time(he was mid 20s-or at least I Think he was Lolz)...Strange thing is I can't find the dudes music anywhere online/interwebs and he lived in my state...Alls I have is a cassette of my favorite song by him(Well to be fair, I actually don't Know the name of his album or my fave song and they were sold out of his cd's cuz they were priced at $5 bucks).....

They used to play Zero Cell&Chimera's music on our local radio rock station back in 03ish....

The guitar reminds me of Fear Factory, and the piano and the singing reminds me of Faith No More.

That's cool, I personally love both bands. I have All the Fear Factory cd's and the frontman has such a unique, awesome voice!!!!! Love me some Pantera and Alice in Chains as well lol....Peace all, I'm out........

Look Mushroomhead are trailblazers they started the entire nu metal genre. My home state band and I've seen them a lot. Saying that I've been a bigger fan and supporter of slipknot over the years. Not because Mushroomhead sucks but because I just gravitated more towards slipknot. Yes these bands are both nu metal and came out relatively close though Mushroomhead beat them by a few years all this hatred is utter bullshit and mainly stemmed from Mushroomhead die hards. Yes they are similar but still nothing alike. It's like saying hey man I love Nirvana but fuck stone temple pilots. It's idiotic, good music and genre's come in droves and the simple minded people who create turmoil over artists giving us all a peice of themselves and giving us shelter and refuge to escape from the mundane existance of our realities just need to grow the fuck up

I love this song! Probably my favorite on the entire album. I especially love the breakdown with the synthesizer at 3:40. They incorporate that so well with this song as well as many of their other tracks.

Been seeing these guys since they were playing birthday parties in the garage and later at vrock lol. I met slipknot getting off a tour bus in Ashtabula at flying j truck stop and talked with then a while. They asked if I liked their music and I told them I'd never heard them I just heard they were some band that rips off mushroom head. They didn't like me after that lmao. Years later they grew on me a little but shroomhead is way better and always has been. Rep Cleveland motherfuckers!!!

I'm so glad I grew up in Cleveland and got to see mushroom head just about every weekend at small clubs since they came together in 93. Funny how it was just a side project so the guys could do something other than their main bands at the time.

@SixString Rebel Mushroomhead plays in Bb and Korn in A standard, a half step difference. Mushroomhead uses 7 string guitars and 5 string basses just like Korn does.
