I remember listening to this for the first time and being instantly obsessed. "What are these weird backing vocal noises? Wow that beat is really hammering the chorus home, I like it! Ooooh.... fuzzzzyyyy more of that please! 3:42 wait...did they record this in a ... grocery store ...what's happening?" And that final, haunting chorus. I think I closed my eyes and just finally let it all wash over me...and the distorted vocal outro with the music box notes. Think that's when Matt Bellamy crawled into my heart and cocooned himself up there in the dead space, never to be extricated. That was a long time ago...like 2007. I should probably check on him.

What an awesome show it was. I can't believe they played this song live !

Mama San nope, I've never been to any music concert let alone a muse one. I feel like muse would be a pretty great one to start with though. Having watched plenty of their live shows on YouTube it's obvious they put on quite a show. I'm really hoping once they come back to Britain me and my friend, who's also into them, can get tickets.

Start preparing for the best show ever if you manage to get tickets for you and your friend for Muse in Britain... (will not be too difficult I think, otherwise I can help via the Muse forum). But there is no turning back once you have seen Muse live. No other band can stand in their shadow.
First they need to come back to the Netherlands.

@Raphael Lastimado For this song specifically, there were 3 extra people: John Cornfield, Paul Reeve, and Rich Costey. Costey was both a producer and a mixing engineer, the rest were only mixing engineers.

the reason i love them because they can make many genre in one song. not only one song. in every album have many genre too. first thing about this song it is quite heavy and then turn to a bit slow down and then heavy again. ilove muse so much
