So I started taking this little mp3 or zune that my mom has bought us for Xmas . And my brother had a lot of different music in there and one of the artist he had on he's playlist was murs and I remember always listening to everything or I know , yesterday or today and more . So everytime I would get depressed I would listen to murs and would instantly changed my mood . I would feel safe and feel like if my brother was there . I love hip hop and I love murs . They helped get through a lot

thats the whole point of them. its use of artistic licence. they are not meant to look real, its creates a dichotomy between the realness of the subject and the social construct "artificical/fakeness" of rocking ice to show off your realness. it works on lots of levels and has the scope to go even further into thr symbolism of a diamond.
