Dude, I listen to a lot of punk rock. Municipal Waste is more punk oriented than thrash oriented and there are other crossover bands like Uncle Slam that are more thrash oriented than punk oriented. I'm not saying MW is a bad band, I fucking love these dudes.

Metal Elitist Douchebag Varukers is punk . Crass is punk . Kreator is thrash . Dust Bolt is thrash . who do you think MW sounds more like ? . 70 % thrash 30 % punk and yes 100 % fucking awesome !

Warrane Labrie True, a lot of people don't get that crossover thrash is still thrash = metal. And on the crossover scale MW is way more metal than hardcore punk. If someone wants to listen to more hardcore oriented crossover i recommend bands like Ramming Speed, SSS, Cryptic Slaughter, Attitude Adjustment, Creatures etc.
