This song by Rich Mullins gave me hope in a Psychiatric Ward of a Hospital. It got me through it. I was scarred and scared. But God was with me. The Holy Spirit spoke this song memory from years ago in me and I quit trying to have ideas about suicide. Walt- That one Guy.

I stopped listening to CCM after we lost Rich. Everything else seems hollow to me. Tears are flowing as I just found these songs in YT. He spoke words that made me come back to Christ. The church just turned me off. Pat answers sicken me and I need spiritual depth and honesty. Can't seem to find that in my life.

I think I understand how you might feel. When Dr. Nabeel Qureshi died last year of stage 4 stomach cancer I was so upset. I wasn't angry at God, I just couldn't grasp that it was better for him to be dead than to be here teaching us and helping us to draw closer to an understanding of God's purpose in our life. And then there is his precious wife and baby girl... I can't listen to secular music and the way the world is distresses me because of the needless pain humans inflict upon each other. It would be absolutely intolerable if I didn't believe in a God who knows so much more than tiny little humans do. There are now some very effective and God loving Christian musicians and even bad Christian music is better than secular music. I hope you will come back and give it another try
