Mudhoney - Baby, Can You Dig The Light? Lyrics

Baby, can you dig the light?...

I finally reached the end of the tunnel
I finally reached the end of the tunnel
This is the end of the tunnel and there is no light
This is the end of the tunnel and there is no light
This is the end of the tunnel and there is no light
Where is the light?
Where is the light?
I always thought I'd see some kind of light
I always heard there'd be some sort of light
Where is the light?
Where is the light?
I always hoped there'd be light
I want, I want the light

Mudhoney kicks ass. Nirvana and Mudhoney are my favorite bands.

    Ripped Torn

imagine the music they would have went on to make after the mainstream media lost interest...we still got Mudhoney tho.

    Shruggz Da Str8-Faced Clown

Screaming Trees were probably the most-overlooked of the then-contemporary Seattle bands that weren't part of the bif-4 to make it big in the mainstream (Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam).  Although they were one of the first to have signed to a major label (before Soundgarden and Alice in chains -- anyone feel free to correct my understanding of that history if it turns out to be inaccurate), they didn't experience quite the same level of success (in terms of record sales -- apart from critical acclaim).  Their lead vocalist, Mark Lanegan went on to have a productive and fruitful solo career (still recording and touring to this day), oftentimes featuring collaborations with other veteran artists of the '80s/'90s "Alt-Rock" genre generation.  While his voice doesn't have quite the acrobatic range that Cornell's had, nor the emotional-intensity that Cobain's and Staley's had and Vedder's has (for different reasons between those three), what his has that is unique to him is a fullness and warmth in its tone that has only gotten better with age.
