It was good to hear that Tom was still making fantastic music in his later years unlike others whose quality drops off later in their life. We miss him but think how bad it must be for the guys he played with.

Alright so while I sincerely respect a handful of the current artists I just feel the artists from the 80's and prior are just better. Okay so one day I'm with my wife in some store and there's a song playing and I really like it and I think hey that's the kind of catchy tune I want to hear and maybe the current people are creating quality stuff as well so I jot down the lyrics I can glean from listening to the song and go home and google it and it turns out it was this song and I just said to myself "it figures". The great ones just stand out and whether a guy like Tom Petty is working with The Heartbreakers or Mudcrutch or whoever he's always going to deliver something special. The great artists just find a way.

What a great song! The worst of Tom Petty is better than most of the noise that passes for music these days. And, in my opinion, Mudcrutch is some of the the best of Tom Petty!
