What are people hearing that I'm not?? This is TERRIBLE! I have a soft spot for Michael, but his solo career has been blighted by poor songwriting, and this is no exception. He should sack this off, get a band of new young musicians with a good songwriting partner and give it one last go. But this is not what Michael should be remembered for.

Michael may be having the best times of his life. I know I am listening to this. Absolute lovely stuff. That vocal talent there is frightening, come on, Gary Barden, Doogie White, Graham Bonnet and Robin McAuley, I love each one of them and together, I don´t know, can´t describe the feeling, from one high to another. Last Supper was a very good record, can´t wait for the new one, I´m very glad that the Egos have stayed together !

I'm not sure if Michael & Phil can be in the same room. Which isn't necessarily a problem for making an album, so many are done different parts in different places, but then there's the video.

Sadly this yet another uninspiring song from Michael & co. This style of soloing he's been doing over the last 10 or so years is terrible. How I wish he still played with the same flair and originality that he showcased during the 1970's with UFO and early 80's with MSG!

I'm almost 60 and here I see men my age and older trying to recreate something they all did when they were in their 20's. Sad. MS was a guitar hero of mine for most of the 70's and 80's. Now I watch this stuff and think "This is not age appropriate music" Can't these guys ever consider evolving? Why are you in your 60's and still chasing pussy? Nurses in garter belts? The directors, producers, and musicians here all need to get a grip on reality.

Who's playing drums in place of Ted McKenna?

His name is Bodo SCHOPF (and not Bodo Schropf). He´s german.

And I must add , that Bodo played already with Michael in the eighties in the MSG-Band "McAuley - Schenker - Group". Greetings from Alex Koedinger. Luxembourg.

Bodo Schopf. He was part of the McAuley Schenker Group in the 80s and played on two Albums: "Perfect Timing" and "Save Yourself".

Later he appeared in "Andy Scott's Sweet" and released one album ("A") with them.

So, actually, with the exception of the bassist, this is an McAuley Schenker Group Reunion with additional singers, as the second guitarist, Steve Mann, was part of that group, too.

By the way: not all drums on the new album were played by Bodo Schopf. Most of the new material was recorded by Simon Phillips (formerly of MSG and Toto), but he didn't have time to tour, so the job as new permanent drummer went to Schopf.

And: R. I. P., Ted! Thank you for all the memories you gave us!

Song is just OK (obscure ambience, average chorus, messy structure but good guitar work), but this is the coolest Schenker videoclip that i have ever seen! Fantastic job!
