I swear for the longest time the only lyrics I knew to this were "Doctor doctor, you don't have to cure me", and not even knowing the song title I just assumed the song was about a woman coming to terms with her own mortality and refusing extensive treatment for a potentially life-threatening condition. Then I reheard the song in a McDonald's lately and my impression stuck until I heard those titular words. Worst. Double take. Ever.
