Motley Crue - Confessions Lyrics

I hear a voice in my head going 'round
it's been talkin' to me 4 awhile
inject my soul with the truth, do you dare??
oh my god it's time 4a prayer
going down,
breakin' down, I'm underground
time 4 a prayer isolate, I contemplate
time 4 a prayer physical, I'm miserable
forgive me father for I have sinned
god is my sanity split in two??
all this time and I still feel the pain
oh my god it's time 4 a prayer
I'm going down, breakin' down, I'm underground
time 4 a prayer aggravate, I contemplate
time 4 a prayer physical, I'm miserable

don't ya make me go searching for my soul

Best song by far from the album. Surprised they didn't push this as the feature track. Tommy Lee's vocals at the end are great.

  2. o.... ....

This album came way before its time. Truly a masterpiece. Thanks John Corabi.

Underrated album! I love it since the release year in 1997.

  5. J.... E....

this is horrible. no melody at all. Shout to Dr. Feel was the real deal period. Period.

    J.... E....

You sir would not know a melody from the flatulence that comes out of your ass.

    J.... E....

Again the same cliché with Dr. Feelgood, that album is not even good, the only song that is worth it is Kickstart My Heart, Dr. Feelgood is nothing more than pop rock, very overrated.

2018! I'm still listening. This album has such a unique sound. Love it!

First head it in 97! Whole album rocks.

Mou Jalout Agree. The whole album rocks. I used to listen to it every night. Good times! Wish they made one more like that.

@Loki27 In the summer of 1997 a co-worker let me borrow the CD. I've loved it ever since. Lots of awesome memories from the 90's. Funny thing is that when this came out it was a few years after the height of Motley Crue's initial success.

To me the best Motley Crue album ever. They matured, the lyrics were outstanding. They lived it.

    B.... L....

Yep! I remember listening to this in 1997, which was an awesome year . Awesome album awesome era.

    B.... L....

Thanks to the guy they fucked over and raped: John Corabi. He was involved in the writing of the entire album.

  11. B.... S....

  19. V.... A....

It's unbelievable to say the very least to me how commercially unsuccesful this album was. I've always been just flabbergasted to the point of being distraught.  How could you not like a song like this and especially Flush? Those old school Crue fans fucked it up man.

  20. S.... F....

This is their best song... THAT'S RIGHT!!!

    Agree with Joseph Boulay 100%

  21. R.... O....

This is by far Crue's best record, the first five songs are flawless.

  22. J.... B....

Wish they kept the Corabi thing going.

    J.... B....

Joseph Boulay loved the Corabi album

    J.... B....

Absolutely....Corabi is far superior as a vocalist and the album they did with him was the heaviest and most mature album. Wish they would have done at least one more with him.

    J.... B....

@John Atkinson This IS a Corabi album. The Crue douches used him on the writing and arranging and then caved to desperation and label pressure and fukt him and brought back Wharton, who quit numerous times recording this.

  23. L.... ....

Wish they kept the Industrial thing going.
