I always have an impression that there are two saxophones, is this because of multiple tracks on the mixing or is this what baritone saxophone sound like?

I can't tell you with certainty, but Dana Colley is/was known to play two saxes simultaneously on certain songs, that could be what you're hearing. Just another reason Morphine was such an amazing band.
