It’s difficult to understand just how HUGE this album was. Very rarely if at all do we get albums that have more than two hits.

It was so big at the time that I found it annoying. I was not smitten. Years later I can see the merit in the album as a whole. Precisely why I am listening and commenting today in 2019. Even though I wasn't a fan when it was all new it's impact and seemingly endless string of hit singles was remarkable.

Didn't 2/3 of this album end up on the top 40? And the rest were just too deep to be understood until years later, like Mary Jane and Not The Doctor.
