I can't believe I'm just hearing this song for the first time. WOW! One of the most honest songs of love and loss I've ever heard. It's beautiful, but gut wrenchingly painful. You don't see too many of these that can be that honest without sounding mean or spiteful.

This song came on on the way to the vet.
My wife of 10 years, had a cocker spaniel that came to love me... 16 yeas old, but I knew her for 10 years.
2 weeks ago today, we had to put her down... and I lost it in the car when it came on.
We have no kids, and it's so quiet in the house when my wife is gone.
Nobody to greet me at the door... nobody peeking past the curtains when I pull up... nobody to run towards me when they go outside.
Somehow, we move on... but still remember.
