Morissette, Alanis - Limbo No More Lyrics

My house, my role
My friends, my man
My devotion to god
All the more feels indefinite

Nothing's been clear
Nothing's been in
Nothing's felt true
And I've never had both feet in
Nothing's belonged
Nothing's been yes
Nowhere's been home
And I'm ready to be limbo no more

My taste, my peers
My identity, my affiliation
All the more feels indefinite

Nothing's been clear
Nothing's been in
Nothing's felt true
And i've never had both feet in
Nothing's belonged
Nothing's been yes
Nowhere's been home
And I'm ready to be limbo no more

I sit with filled frames
And my books and my dogs at my feet
My friends by my side
My past in a heap
Thrown out most of my things
Only kept what I need to carve
Something consistent and notably me

Tattoo on my skin
My teacher's in heart
My house is a home
Something at last i can feel a part of
Sense of myself
My purpose is clear
My roots in the ground
Something at last I can feel a part of
Something aligned
To finally commit
Somewhere I belong
Cuz I'm ready to be limbo no more
My wisdom applied
A firm foundation
A vow to myself
'Cuz I'm ready to be limbo no more

The Deluxe Edition made this album my favorite, "Madness", wow, a heartbreaker!

speaking words from my thoughts... she haunts me in the best possible sense. Her connectivity to her fans is remarkable, how she can literally take her own journal entries and share them with the world and have them emotionally, mentally and physically affect her audience. I love this album...

One of her best albums, the fact it wasn´t commercially known as her previous works, gives this one a sense of more intimacy or more personal meaning to me. Proof that Alanis is a wonderful artist

Diego Aguirre it will always be my favorite masterpiece album by Alanis, with the Deluxe addition... It's always like that though, the masterpiece album you create often goes unnoticed. Only to be revisited, as the genius it is-was, creatively, the one that got overlooked. Like Nelly Furtado's "Folklore". She really did her musical homework, and came up with a remarkable, original collection of songs... So many found it to be her very best. When I first heard "Powerless", I went out and bought it immediately. 15 years later, everyone is saying it was the "overlooked masterpiece album"...

Her most raw album, since jagged little pill. Loved it from start to finish. Got it early on a bootleg type deal, had just bought a new house, and played it from start to finish endlessly. I can still remember the tracks I played over and over immediately, and the ones that grew on me as I continued to listened. And those are the tracks that stick with me the most.

I love this entire album, personally, I feel this is her best album!!!!! I was not shocked when Alanis left Maverick, due to how they had not been promoting her well, I felt that way when she put out Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie
