Some of the effects are on point... Some are awful but for the time this was released I think it was kinda cool and original

This song will always remind me of a Monday night football game in 2004. That year they picked different artists each Monday for a halftime video and that one was this song. Game was Philadelphia eagles vs the vikings I think. I remember each team had a black quarter back Donovan McNabb and I think Dante Culpepper

Okay, the concept is super cool and clever, but I'm not sure I like the digital effects. Not that well made. Still a great song though, So-Called Chaos is an underrated album IMO.

And look at her now...she's even more deep and amazing. I've loved her shit since I was like 15 and I still find myself amazed by her originality and talent. Many of my friends who know me as a typically heavy metal and classic rock guy question me as to why I revere Alanis as such a musical prodigy and I simply reply that if you have to ask you'll never know, but a good start would be to start from the beginning. Or if you happen to like things bass-ackwards, just watch this video. ;)

I love Alanis' music, but this song and video is one of the most brilliant things she's done. The irony used on the whole concept, mocking on herself past eras and with those sharped and satirical lyrics that talk about being hypocrite, showing yourself in one way but feeling something different and extreme. This song popped into my head yesterday and I have been listening to as many performances of it that I can find. This song just kills it. Alanis at her best in my opinion. The video clarifys another thing about Alanis. Some women always look the same, year after year. Alanis always seems to look different. I am talking from the mid 90s on. Sometimes she does not even look like the same woman. Always looks good though. I saw her recently on Guitar Sessions, a program on Directv. To me she gets better with age.

Kendra Ann I agree that this song has BPD related content, I have BPD and when having a shit day like today, I listen to it and feel less isolated because I remember I'm not alone in that retrospect, even if she doesn't have BPD she totally gets it regardless. Other songs of hers I have found have BPD relatable lyrics too ("Would not come", "Can't Not" especially the last mini verse at the end, "Numb", "Spiral" just to name some) , she's actually my go to music wise.
